My Story: From Burnout to Breakthrough
In the early days of my career, I was doing everything "right." I had multiple diplomas — in Marketing, Bookkeeping, and IT — and I was thriving in the corporate world. I was driving national marketing sales for major companies in South Africa and climbing the ladder fast.
But behind the scenes, the pressure was building. The long hours, the deadlines, the constant stress — it was taking a toll that I didn’t fully see until it was too late.
By the end of 2006, I hit a wall. I was completely burnt out — physically, emotionally, mentally — and I knew something had to change. So, I walked away. I left the corporate world… but my body didn’t bounce back. In fact, it got worse.
I was suddenly facing a long list of diagnoses:
Fibromyalgia. Chronic Fatigue. Adrenal Fatigue. Hypothyroidism. PCOS. IBS. Insulin Resistance. Allergies. Pre-diabetes. Fatty Liver. Low blood pressure. Brain fog. Constant pain. Weight gain.
At just 5ft 1, an extra 20kg made everything harder. I barely recognized myself — and I was exhausted, inside and out.
I tried everything. I studied over 96 different diets. I did the juicing, the carb-cutting, the detoxing. I saw doctors, specialists, joined programs like Weight Watchers and WeighLess. And still… nothing worked. I was getting worse, not better.
That’s when I realized something big: I wasn’t going to find healing in a one-size-fits-all solution.
I needed to understand my body — deeply — and figure out what it needed to heal. So I turned to education, but this time not for a career — for survival.
In 2015, I started a new kind of study:

Bio-Individual Nutrition for Children and Autism

SCENAR Therapy for pain and cellular support
And that’s when everything began to change.
Today, I’m beyond grateful to say: I’m in full remission.
The Fibromyalgia? Gone.
The chronic fatigue, the fog, the hormonal chaos, the blood sugar roller coasters, the endless sleepless nights — all gone.
My liver is healthy, my hormones are balanced, my gut is thriving, and I’ve said goodbye to the meds, the laxatives, the fear, and the frustration.
In my fifties, I’ve returned to doing what I love — running, yoga, HIIT training — things I never thought I’d be able to enjoy again. I move daily, with joy and intention. I support my body with food that nourishes and supplements that make sense for me.
And best of all? I get to help others do the same.
My journey taught me that healing is possible — even when it feels impossible. It’s not about another diet or quick fix. It’s about learning what your body truly needs, and giving it the chance to come back to life.
