We are the responsible party under POPIA for your personal information.

  • You book any service (consult, treatment, etc.)

  • You fill a contact or intake form

  • You subscribe to newsletters, offers, or communications

We collect both information you voluntarily provide and information collected automatically.

  • Email address, phone number

  • Physical address / delivery address

  • Billing address

  • Payment metadata (last 4 digits, token, transaction ID—not full card data)

  • Health-related data (if relevant to services you’re booking, e.g. food history, medical conditions)

  • Preferences and consents (marketing opt-in, newsletter topics)

  • Messages, feedback, testimonials you submit

 

Automatically Collected Data

  • IP address, browser type & version, device type

  • Pages visited, timestamps, click interactions

  • Referral source, campaign UTM parameters

  • Cookies and tracking (analytics, performance, functional)

We classify sensitive personal information (e.g. health info) that requires stricter treatment.

4. How and Why We Use Your Data

We process your personal information only when we have a lawful justification under POPIA. Below are the use cases and legal bases why we may handle your data:

  • Order fulfilment & service delivery (Contract necessity):

  • We use your data to complete the transaction you’ve initiated — sending supplements, scheduling wellness sessions, issuing invoices, and managing bookings. Without this data, we cannot honour the agreement.

  • Support & communication (Legitimate interest / performance):

  • To respond to your questions, resolve issues, and manage your interactions with us (such as updating you on orders or services), we rely on what’s necessary for good customer service.

  • Marketing and promotions (Consent):

  • We send offers, newsletters or special updates only if you’ve explicitly opted in. At any time you can withdraw your consent (see “Your rights” section).

  • Analytics & site optimization (Legitimate interest):

  • We collect usage data (e.g. pages visited, clicks) so we can understand how users interact with our site and continuously improve your experience, while balancing your privacy.

  • Fraud prevention & legal compliance (Legal obligation / vital interest / legitimate interest):

  • Some data processing is necessary to protect you, protect the business, comply with regulations, or detect and prevent abuse or fraud.​

  • Defend or bring legal claims

After that, we securely delete, anonymise, or archive it, in line with best practice and legal limits.

 

8. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data (what we hold)

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent (if processing was consent-based)

  • Object or limit processing in certain contexts

  • Request data portability (in a readable format)

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

9. Security & safeguards

We implement technical, administrative, and organisational safeguards to protect your personal information, such as:

  • Encryption & secure socket layer (SSL) on site

  • Access control: only authorized personnel access data

  • Regular backups, firewalls, secure hosting environment

  • Ongoing audits, assessments, and updates

However, no system is 100% secure. In a breach, we’ll comply with POPIA breach notification requirements.

 

10. Children & minors

Our site is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data about a minor, we will delete it.
